drama television series "NCIS"; the 9th episode of season 4.Plot
When Agent McGee's sister Sarah arrives at his house at around 2:30 in the morning disoriented, with bloodied hands and claiming that she killed someone, its up to him to figure out the truth. Upon further investigation McGee suspects that Sarah might have been drugged due to the fact the she barely recalled the incident. Against regulations McGee keeps Sarah in his apartment and away from NCIS. Meanwhile, Gibbs and the team are investigating the death of a seaman at the same college that Sarah goes to. A cell phone found at the crime scene which belonged to Sarah and the blood on her hands was the seaman's. After learning this, Sarah runs away from McGee's apartment, and he is forced to reveal everything to Gibbs. Despite the evidence, McGee is convinced that Sarah is innocent, and must find the evidence needed before Sarah is charged with murder.
At the end, it is proven that a cheerleader, angered by Sarah's blog, had spiked her peanut butter with a date rape drug. The seaman was stabbed by either the cheerleader, or the security guard, who had been her accomplice. In the end, it is unknown who stabbed the seaman, because both the cheerleader and the security guard blame each other.
Sarah was previously seen in the background of season 2 episode Red Cell walking through McGee's apartment with what appears to be nothing but a long T-Shirt on. At that time it was not revealed that she was his sister. Actress Troian Bellisario is the daughter of series creator Donald Bellisario. This is not the first time she has appeared in one of her father's series, having appeared as a small child in the "Quantum Leap" episode "Another Mother". Another Quantum Leap episode "A Portrait for Troian" is named for her.
