IProMIS

iProMIS (developed and marketed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C DAC), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India) is a project management application suite aimed to help project managers to monitor the progress of their projects.

It is an intranet based web application with password protected access control having customized menus based on the functional role of the logged in user. Apart from keeping track of ongoing projects, the suite also has provisions for monitoring the progress at different stages – right from proposal submission until financial closure. The suite comprises different functional modules responsible for project initiation, project plan preparation, resource allocation, milestone tracking, payment schedule tracking, project closure, progress tracking, estimation and tracking of manpower utilization, baseline creation, reviews, task allocation, financial progress tracking, customer care and HR management.
