- Canon EF 28-80mm lens
Canon has produced several 28-80mm zoom lenses. All but one had variable f/3.5-5.6 apertures, and most of these were inexpensive and poorly regarded. The only 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 lens which was well regarded was the first version of the 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 USM; it was an above-average consumer zoom. The second and subsequent 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 USM models (the ones with Roman numerals stating which generation the lens is) are of kit-lens quality.
The other 28-80mm lens is the Canon EF 28-80mm f/2.8-4L, which was an EF mount wide-to-normal
zoom lens introduced by Canon in April1989 .Infobox photographic lenses
