Hämeenkatu is the main street of
Tampere ,Finland . The beautifulboulevard is roughly akilometre long, and 28.5metre s wide (driveway and sidewalk) at its widest point.Hämeenkatu is a boulevard, which begins from the east at the
Tampere railway station , continues westward to theHämeenpuisto park, and is covered with cobble stones for its entire length. Nowadays, every crossing at the street hastraffic lights . Eastwards from the railway station, Hämeenkatu is followed by the 700-metre-long Itsenäisyydenkatu on to the crossing of Kalevan puistotie, Sammonkatu and Teiskontie. In the west, Hämeenkatu continues first as Pirkankatu, then as Pispalan valtatie, Nokiantie, Sarpatintie, Nokianvaltatie, Siuronvaltatie and Siurontie on to the crossing of Kuljuntie and Miharintie inSiuro , Nokia.
