Geraint Vincent

Geraint Vincent is a British newsreader. Currently employed by ITN.

He joined ITV News in 2004, as a correspondent, where he reported a significant portion of their on-site coverage from the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. He has also filed reports on the Soham murders and the Northern Bank robbery, and had spent time embedded with troops in Iraq. He also reported on-site coverage from the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France. Recently, in August 2008 Geraint reported and presented for their Olympics Beijing 2008 coverage in China.

In 2005 he presented regular stints on the now defunct ITV News Channel.

Since 2006, Geraint can be seen relief presenting on the "Lunchtime News" and is the male deputy anchor of the "Evening News" co-presenting each Friday and as cover throughout week. He previously could be seen as one of the many anchors on the "Weekend News". Since January 2008, he can also be seen presenting the "ITV Late News" when the main presenter is absent.

He previously was a reporter for the BBC in Cardiff reporting for BBC Wales Today. He holds a degree from the University of East Anglia.

Geraint is currently dating Sky News presenter Sarah-Jane Mee.
