Kuniyan River is a river which is flowing through the border of Kannur and Kasaragod districts.

Area of Flow

It is connecting Tejaswini River and Olavara River which is joining the Kavvayi Back Water.It touches Payyannur,Karivellur,Eyyakadu and Trikarpur.It is flowing through Trikarpur Panchayath,Karivellur-Peralam Panchayath,Payyanur Municipality and Kayyur-Cheemeni Panchayath
