Robin Gill is a
Canadian journalist for theGlobal Television Network . She is currently the anchor for "Morning News" and the "Noon News" during the week. She has also worked for the CBC and graduated from theUniversity of British Columbia with a degree inInternational Relations and fromBCIT she earned adiploma inbroadcast journalism .Robin Gill determined from high school that she would have a career in media. Global BC . Her next position required her to move toSaskatchewan for a job reporting and anchoring for a local station. From Saskatchewan she then moved on and reported for the CBC inVancouver . Robin helped launch a new station inCalgary where she hosted both the morning show and reported for the evening news. She then moved toToronto ,Canada 's largest media market, in the summer of 2000, to report for Global News(CIII-TV ) before becoming the weekend anchor.Since moving to Toronto, Robin has worked on many stories highlighting local issues, such as the
SARS outbreak , the 2003 & 2007 Provincial Elections, theBlackout of 2003 , theDalai Lama 's visit and other stories. She was also active in reporting on the 2005 "Year of the Gun " Story for Global News and hosted and reported on Community events in affected areas which were aimed at reducing gun violence in troubledToronto neighbourhoods.Career
