Ontario ,Canada .Warden begins as a two-lane residential street two blocks south of
Kingston Road , becoming a 4-lane road when it reachesDanforth Avenue . North beyond the Toronto boundary atSteeles Avenue , the area becomes York Region, where Warden is also calledYork Regional Road 65 . In Georgina, the road becomes Civic Centre Road.Originally rural, it is now mainly residential along the road, with occasional commercial developments where it meets other major intersections, such as Eglinton Town Centre at

Warden Avenue is named after Warden House found on Warden Avenue in Markham, Ontario. It is the north-south lot division of lots 31 and 32, of the former Township of Scarbrough, and was surveyed in 1865.
