Elevated track

An Elevated line or EL is basically an elevated subway which runs on a viaduct or bridge.

In the New York City Subway system, EL-lines consist of from the south the A,S train in Rockaway Park/Broad Channel Queens R to Broad Channel/ the F,N,M,D,Q lines to Coney island/ J,M,Z Branch in Brooklyn/the 5 branch south of the divider with the 3,4 line, the 7 line in Queens/ the 1 branch in the Bronx/ the 4,5,6 in the Bronx/ the D in the Bronx. Also some remnants of the 8 train ex 3rd avenue el- exist in the Bronx.
