Jason Douglas is a stand up comedian originally from Michigan. Some reports give his birthplace as Detroit others the small town of Omer. He now resides near Los Angeles, CA.
His bio lists credits that include: ESPN, Sirius Satellite Radio, & The Bob & Tom Radio Show.

Clips from his CD, titled "My Name Is Gus" play on Sirius Satellite Radio and he's been a call-in comedy guest on several programs there.
He appeared two times on ESPN's College Game Day in 2004 Jason's approximate age as of 2007, was 25.
In the late 1990s he emerged on the Midwest comedy circuit.
Within a few years he was working as an opening act for a lot of big name headliners (both comedians & musicians). A partial list includes - Ron White, Robert Klein, Pauly Shore, Blake Clark, Kathleen Madigan, Carrot Top and Kevin Meaney. The musicians and bands he's toured with or opened shows for include: The Beach Boys, Foreigner, Smokey Robinson, Kenny G] , Three Dog Night, The Righteous Brothers, Weird Al, The Doobie Brothers, Chicago, Three Dog Night, Michael Buble.
His skills as a comedian caught the eye of national comedian and actor Blake Clark in '02 Blake Clark set up several showcases for Jason in the Los Angeles area in front of high powered management companies. It is not known if he was ever signed.
In 2003 Jason was invited to open shows for the Kevin Meaney Christmas Show tour which played in theaters across the USA.
He is currently developing a script for TV show, based on his grocery store character from stand up act. A full script has not yet been verified.
In 2004 & 2005 Jason was booked several times into The Riviera in
Las Vegas, NV for week long shows, through a major Los Angeles agency.Jason is also responsible for discovering some up and coming comedians. One such example is Fielding Fowler, a rising Detroit based comic with a cult following. According to his website he still keeps a busy touring schedule for corporate clients and college shows. Although most of 2005-2006 had him not touring due to what was rumored to be "severe stage fright". When he reemerged in '07 for tour dates, he was noticeably much heavier with estimates have him gaining upwards of 80-100 pounds.
