- Bilk (beverage)
Bilk is an alcoholic beverage produced in Abashiri brewery in
Hokkaidō ,Japan . It consists ofbeer andmilk , hence the name. It is produced through addingbeer yeast andhops into a milk and keeping the mix in a temperature lower than the milk boiling point. It looks like a beer, has a fruity taste, and is sold in 330 ml bottles. It was developed in response to declining milk consumption resulting in a milk surplus.The beverage went on sale at the Nakahara liquor shop on
