His only book was published years after his death called "The Adventures Of Gurudeva" Publisher: London : Deutsch, 1976. ISBN: 0233967583. It was written and sent to his son V.S. Naipaul who was studying at Oxford, England. The elder Naipaul's hopes was for his son Vido as he called him (V.S. Naipaul) to try and get it published in London. In hope that any money from it would have help the family from the poverty they were in. It was also V.S. father's dream to become a writer. That dream was finally fulfilled through his son, but sadly after he died. For more information read "Between Father and Son".
