parochial ), and is accredited by the North Central Accreditation Association as a College Preparatory.The school colors are red, white, and blue, and the school mascot is the Eagle. Over 95% of Scottsdale Christian Academy graduates attend college, and the graduation rate is nearly 100%.
General Information
Scottsdale Christian Academy provides a rigorous education, a Biblical worldview, opportunities for short term missions, Arizona state champion sports opportunities, musical performance opportunities that have included Carnegie Hall and St. Olafs in Minnesota, access to well known professional athletes, business people, professional musicians, working class families, missionary families, scientists, educators, authors, skilled tradesmen, doctors, homemakers, attorneys, and other professionals. Opportunities for students are numerous both during school and after graduation.

History
Also called "SCA" and the "Academy", Scottsdale Christian Academy was founded by
Scottsdale Bible Church in 1968, with an enrollment of only 47 first through fourth grade students. In 1972, SCA became independent of Scottsdale Bible Church and became an Arizona non-profit organization.In 1973 the High School was added and enrollment increased to 275 students. In 1991, the school moved to its current location, a fourteen-acre campus on the southwest corner of Tatum Boulevard and Acoma Drive.Enrollment
Scottsdale Christian Academy currently enrolls approximately 1,250 students in Preschool through 12th grade.

Dress Code
Scottsdale Christian Academy dress code is uniformed. All students, with the exception of preschool, wear Dennis uniforms.All shirts must be tucked in and all must wear belts.
