George Washington (Zip) Zabel (February 18, 1891, Wetmore, Kansas—May 31, 1970, Beloit, Wisconsin) was a Major League relief pitcher for the Chicago Cubs.

Zabel attended Baker University, in Baldwin City, Kansas.

On June 17, 1915, Zabel set the record for most innings pitched in relief in one game. He came into the game in relief for Bert Humphries with two out in the first inning, and pitched the final 18 1/3 innings to earn the win over the Brooklyn Dodgers and opposing pitcher Jeff Pfeffer, who pitched the complete game.
