The song starts out with drums and guitar, played by Joey Kramer and Joe Perry respectively and the bass of Tom Hamilton, accompanies the intro. Then Steven Tyler came up with the main riff "Now it's time..." using a low-tone setting on his keyboard. At this part the other instruments make a stop for a while, until he finished the "...to bid you sweet adieu" part of verses and then the whole band returns dynamically till the end of the song, with Joe Perry making a solo outro. The song is supported by background vocals and the escort of Steven Tyler's keyboard.
