- Richard P.A.C. Newman
Richard P.A.C. Newman (1955 - 2000) was a physicist notable for his work in the area of
cosmology andgeneral relativity .He completed his PhD in 1979 at the University of Kent at Canterbury under G.C. McVittie with a thesis entitled "Singular Perturbations of the Empty Robertson-Walker Cosmologies."
He was a research fellow at the
University of York 1984-1986.He died 2000.
