- Hasanak the Vizier
Amir Hasanak the Vizier (PerB|حسنک وزیر) (about 995-1077) was a famous 11th centuryvizier in theGhaznavid Empire ofPersia . He servedMahmud of Ghazni and was executed by hanging during the reign ofMas'ud I of Ghazni , son of Mahmud. His official charge was infidelity which was a politically motivated charge, and his execution was ordered by theCaliph ofBaghdad .His execution has been documented in
