Craig Keating

Craig Keating is a Canadian politician from British Columbia. He is currently a North Vancouver City Councillor [http://www.cnv.org/server.aspx?c=1&i=19] , first elected in 1999 [http://www.cnv.org/c//DATA/1/290/OFFICIAL%20ELECTION%20RESULTS%201999.PDF] , and re-elected in 2002, and 2005 [http://www.cnv.org//server.aspx?c=1&i=314] .

With a Ph.D in History from McMaster University, Keating makes his profession as an instructor at Langara College in Vancouver, primarily teaching twentieth century history [http://www.langara.bc.ca/history/faculty.html] .

In addition to running for municipal office, Keating was a candidate for the Leadership of the British Columbia New Democratic Party in 2003 [http://www.sfu.ca/mediapr/news_releases/issues_experts/issues_experts_archives_2003/issues07170301.htm] and ran for the New Democratic Party in the provincial constituency of North Vancouver-Lonsdale in 2005.
