Japan , between warlordsTawara Chikataka andShimazu Yoshihisa in1578 . TheShimazu clan , following their conquest of theHyuga Province , began to mobilize their armies and prepare for another attack. Meanwhile, the Tawara clan saw this as a threat and decided that they must take action. Tawara Chikataka andOtomo Sorin led an army of 30,000 and marched towards the Hyuga Province. Yoshihisa led an army of 50,000. Yoshihisa won the battle.
