Gentlemen (foaled 1992 in Argentina) is a Thoroughbred racehorse who was the Champion Three-Year-Old Colt in Argentina and who then raced successfully in the United States.

Bred in Argentina, Gentlemen's grandsire was Nureyev, a son of the top sire of the 20th Century, Northern Dancer. Racing at age three in 1995, Gentlemen won the Gran Premio Nacional, (Argentine Derby), the Gran Premio Polla de Potrillos (Argentine 1000 Guineas) and the Gran Premio Polla de Potrancas (Argentine 2000 Guineas).

Brought to race in the United States in 1996, under California trainer Richard Mandella Gentlemen met with considerable success. Among his important victories. Gentlemen captured the 1996 Pimlico Special at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland and the 1997 Hollywood Gold Cup and Pacific Classic Stakes in California. He was also second to Wagon Limit in the 1998 Jockey Club Gold Cup but ahead of third place finisher, Skip Away.

In 1999, Gentlemen began stud duty at Walmac Farm in Lexington, Kentucky where he met with modest success. In late 2007 he was purchased by the high percentage racing outfit, Elite Stables, LLC and moved to Elite Thoroughbreds in Folsom, LA where he will continue his a career in the lucrative Louisiana Breeders Program. His 2008 Stud fee is listed at a Special Indroctory fee of only $1500, he already has many mares scheduled for the spring and is expecting a full book.
