2001 IBF World Championships overDenmark 'sPeter Gade .His specialty was his deceptive net play that frequently confused and wrong-footed his opponents.

His wife's name is Sylvia Anggraeni. They have one child, her name is Josephine Sevilla. His parents names are Sugianto (father) and Susilowati (mother). Hendrawan is the 3rd child of 4 children. His last education is in the Senior High School. Hendrawan began to play badminton since he was 10 years old and began his top level career at Cipayung National Training Centre or Camp. He retired from Indonesian team in 2003. His current career is as the national men's single coach at
Cipayung . Generally people call him Wawan.Achievements
