Khavaran cemetery

Khavaran cemetery is a cemetery located in South East of Tehran. It was used mainly as a graveyard for the religious minorities such as Hindus, Christians, and recently Bahá'ís. However it was used as a mass grave site containing thousands of corpses from the 1988 executions of Iranian prisoners by the government of Iran.
