Patriarshy Bridge ( _ru. Патриарший Мост) is a steel pedestrian
arch bridge that spansMoskva River , connectingCathedral of Christ the Saviour with Bersenevka in downtownMoscow ,Russia (0.6 kilometers west from the Kremlin). It was built in 2004, designed byMikhail Posokhin (junior) . As of January, 2007, it is the most recent bridge in Moscow.pecifications

Future development
Southern end of the bridge right now terminates at a raised platform, connected to ground with stairs. Bridge is to be extended south-east, first as a skywalk over demolished Bersenevka territory, than over
Vodootvodny Canal into Yakimanka mainland. As of January 2007, work is underway to demolish the remainder of industrial properties in the path of construction, at the same time driving piles for the foundations where possible.
