The Principal of M.A.C as of 2008 was Peter Young. Young is also the principal of M.A.C's student council. The school educates kids from nursery to high school. Students have the of attaining the American Diploma or the IGCSE diploma.
Mission Statement and Philosophy
M.A.C’s mission is to provide students with a solid grounding in education while maintaining the moral standards of the Egyptian home. M.A.C achieves through its dynamic, internationally experienced personnel. Teaching and administrative staff, a blend of highly qualified foreign nationals and Egyptians, provide stellar education for students.
One of the main philosophies of the school is the belief in the development of each student’s maximum potential and individual development. Although the teaching follows the American curriculum and methodologies, Arabic and religion are given the same importance.
The only downside to the school's system is the fact that the school itself is quite suffocating, for it barely holds more than 2 grades in the courtyard. The school is extremely small that the student body is quite too big to fit in the courtyard during break time, let alone do any extra curricular activities due to lack of space. Great educational system, but the administration hardly cares about what the student want, so to better their learning experience.
