Direct TV has a package including the channels andTVBS , a movie channel, andCCTV 4 . The other channels mostly broadcast news in China in Mandarin (TVBS and CCTV 4). The movie channel has 24 hours of Chinese movies. All the other channels are also 24 hours. It costs $36.99 per month for all the channels.Programs

Dramas
The two channels have all kinds of Hong Kong TVB dramas. The dramas that draw the most ratings include the So Drama and the Gold Drama.The So Drama was named for the So company and all the commercials of the So Drama were based on their products. The So Drama changes almost every month and is broadcast from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. EST on USA East Channel and same time in PST on the USA West Channel. The Gold Drama is broadcast on 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. EST on USA East and same time on the USA West channel in PST. The show also broadcasts the long running TVB drama "
A Kindred Spirit " on USA East at 6 a.m., 10 a.m., and 6 p.m. EST. One episode is broadcast each day and is repeated afterwards. So's Drama is repeated on 11 a.m. on USA East to 3 p.m. EST. The Gold Drama is repeated the day afterwards on USA West at 6:15 p.m. EST or 3:15 p.m. PST. Kindred Spirit is repeated at USA East from 12:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. EST. There is also another drama series on USA East at 7:30 p.m. EST and USA West on 8:00 p.m. PST. Each episode is app. 30 minutes long, and each episode is actually 43 mins long. The station cuts the episode in half (about 22-23 mins) and then adds commercials to make it 30 mins (one episode). That makes the series' episodes doubled (ex. twenty 45 minute episodes becomes forty 30 minute episodes).Variety Shows
The variety shows are mostly broadcast on the USA West Channel at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. EST. Each week is different. There is also different kinds of variety shows during Saturdays, mostly on 9:30 p.m. EST on USA East and 9:00 p.m. PST on USA West named as "Saturday Spectacular." Both channels also broadcasts the

Hong Kong . There is also a news program named as "US News," which is produced by the station themselves. It is on USA East at 9:30 p.m. EST and USA West at 9:30 p.m. PST on weekdays. On weekends it is on 8:30 p.m. on each channel.ports
