Forest range officer

Forest range officer

A forest range officer is an officer belonging to a state forest service in the Government of India. He is responsible for managing the forests, environment and wildlife related issues of a forest range of a state or a union territory of India. He is assisted by other state forest officials including subordinate forest beat officers and forest section officers.
