Carl-Mikael A. Teglund (born 1982 in Västerås, Sweden), has become known as a liberal libertarian writer and thinker. Apart from being published at times on political sites and ezines, such as Captus and Zenit, he has also published economic historical writings at the economic history faculty at
Uppsala University .Biography
Growing up in the central parts of Sweden, Teglund found early interest in political activities and organizations. He joined the
Moderate Youth League in the end of 2002. He remained a member of the League until the winter of 2006. The political alignment of Teglund can best be described as liberal libertarian. During the winter of 2006, Teglund resigned from all political activity that had to do with theModerate Party in Sweden, also from theConfederation of Swedish Conservative and Liberal Students . Until his immigration from Sweden in the end of 2006, he was its leader inVästerås . The Confederation of Swedish Conservative and Liberal Students' club in Västerås is calledFMS Freja . After Teglund's resignation,Ulrik Rydén was chosen as the successor. Teglund is now a member of theIndependence Party (Iceland) ,Liberal Youth of Sweden ,Swedish Liberal People's Party andLYMEC .
