Established in 1980, it is run by the Salesians of Don Bosco, a one and a half century old organisation. Its Principal is Fr. Binny Issac Puthanangady.

The school's motto is 'Ever More and Better Ever'. There are 13 classes - Kindergarten to Grade 12, and 4 sections in each class. The Student's Council is composed of a body of 17 leaders.
Administration
It is headed by Reverend Fr. Binny Issac Puthanangady (principal), Reverend Father Hemlet Khujur (Vice Principal) and Reverend Fr. Joseph (Rector, Religious Superior and Student Counsellor).
Student complement
The maximum student complement is 2,500, but, for uality reasons, this is kept at no more than 2,250 students.
Events
The school flaunts several inter-school events , particularly The Bosco Fiesta and Bosco Psi-Phi , besides other intra-school Sports events .
Clubs
The most prominent clubs of the school are The Think Ink Club and Syntech.[citation needed]
Syntech
Syntech, The Computer Club, is another club of the school. The word 'Syntech' is derived from two words: synergy and technology. Synergy means functioning together and technology is the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life. It has 15 members. Its motto is “To innovate and inculcate technology”.
Think Ink Club
The club's motto is "Let Your Imagination Run Wild". It has 25 members. Is main duty is to enrich the school website, by reporting events which take place on the ampus and posting articles on the net. The Think Ink Club selects promising students as representatives of the school in cmpetitions. It is headed by students in 11th and 10th, and made up of students from Classes 6 to 12.
Eco Environmental Club
Eco club works for a cleaner environment. It deals with cleanliness, eco ideas, creating awareness and sensitizing students in order to make a cleaner and healthier environment. Activities such as the 'cleanest class competition', eco caps, paper recycling, cleanliness drive, newspaper bags, anti-cracker drives etc. fall under the Eco club.
The school has a paper recycling machine which is used by the Eco Club to recycle paper and redistribute it among students. It has a capacity of 50 A4 double sheets (4 pages) per day.
Selections for The Think Ink Club are held annually, whereas Syntech's and Eco Environental's selections are internal.
Sports
Facilities for sports include two basketball courts, multiple practice baskets, a table tennis room, a volleyball court, a cemented badminton court, and a multipurpose ground with football goal posts, disassemblable nets (cemented and with mini-pitch) and a calibrated all-season cricket pitch.
