(1967)"Pressed Rat and Warthog" is a song performed by the band Cream on their "Wheels of Fire " (1968) album. The song was distinctive because it was narrated bydrummer Ginger Baker , rather than being sung byJack Bruce orEric Clapton . When Cream held their reunion concerts atRoyal Albert Hall on May 2, 3, 5 and 6 in 2005, the song was added to the lineup despite it never being performed live before. The song garnered rave applause from the Royal Albert Hall crowd and was followed by a brief speech by Baker, in which he informed the crowd that "Pressed Rat and Warthog had re-opened their shop" and were selling t-shirts with the band's faces on them, receiving laughter from the crowd. The bass line towards the end of the track is taken from a traditional folk tune 'My Bonny Boy' as arranged by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
