DOC BUNDY CAREER WITH REGOGO RACING
File:Doc Bundy.jpgDoc began racing for Regogo Racing in 2010, reviving his career with owner of Regogo Racing-Paul Rego. In 2011 the season began in Savannah Ga where Doc finished first in his class in the Lotus Elite. An adorable little car that had not been raced in some time; so the first time on the track with Regogo Racing in 2011 and Doc takes it to first place. The 2nd race of the Regogo Racing season took place in Atlanta Ga where Doc took the Lotus 23b to 2nd place. The 23b had just been completely restored and repainted from it's original white and red colors to Grabber Blue and white, a stunning new color for this amazing little one seater car. Race 3 of 2011 took place in Birmingham Ala where Regogo Racing introduced the cars of cars in the Formula 1 car class. 1979 John Player Special, car number 1 that gave birth to 4 other JPS to which Mario Andretti drove. (Each JPS was driven by the legend car driver Mr Andretti) Team Lotus completely restored this amazing car to it's birth appearance, Clive Chapman of Team Lotus and his team took care in making this F-1 "79" JPS a running race car once again and it was unveiled at Barber Motorsports, (Legends of Vintage cars) to where Doc took it to a 2nd place finish; his first time to drive her in a race. What a start to this cars new beginning for Regogo Racing and Paul Rego. Race 4 took place in the HGP=Historic Grand Prix in Montreal at the Montreal Grand Prix. The field was huge and Doc took the JPS to a 7th place finish! Race 5 was in Mid-Ohio SVRA races where once again Doc drove the 23b Lotus and finished first by many car lengths, no other car in his class came close. Racec 6 took the Regogo team back to Canada, this time to Mont Tremblant, both the 23b and the 79 JPS raced. Doc finished 2nd in the 79 JPS and 1st in the Lotus 23b. He really has gotten used to both cars now and adjusted to each ones strengths and weaknesses; finding himself in the place he loves the most-the track! Race 7 took place in Elkhardt Wisconsin; once again driving both the 23b and the 79 JPS. He took 1st place in his class in the Lotus 23b and finished 5th in the "79"JPS.
