In the late 50’s,
Don Grashey metCharlie Chuck Williams (Chuck) in Thunder Bay. The pair later moved to Vancouver.Ray Chamberlin was instrumental in persuadingNorm Burly (a "well-to-do", retired lumber industry executive fromSechelt ) to join the venture.
