Muhammed Saadulah

Sir Syed Muhammed Saadulah,KCSI (born 1885) was the 1st Chief Minister(Then called as Prime Minister) of Assam from April 1937 to September 1938.Again in 1938 and in 1942.[1]

He was the son of Khan Bahadur Syed Muhammed Taiebulla, of Gauhati, and was educated at Cotton College, Gauhati and at Presidency College, Calcutta.

Chairman of Gauhati Municipality in 1919 and Minister-in-Charge of Education and Agriculture for Assam from 1924 to 1934, he was appointed Chief Minister of Assam in 1937. He was knighted in 1928.
