Tadepalle, Krishna district

Tadepalle (coord|16|36|12|N|80|37|15|E [http://wikimapia.org/#lat=16.6033333&lon=80.6208333&z=13&l=0&m=a&v=2] ), popularly known as Kotturu-Tadepalle, is a village situated about 8 km from the boarder of Vijayawada in Krishna District. This village has two associated Sivaru villages, Kotturu and Vemavaram. Tadepalle village has a population of about 4,000. The main occupation of is agriculture. The village is known for its Mango gardens. The Right canal of the Proposed Famous Indira Sagar (Polavaram) Multipurpose Irrigation project, passes through the valuable garden lands of Vemavaram and Tadepalle before it merges with the Budameru Diversion canal at Velagaleru village to join the Krishna River.

The village has a Zilla Parishad High School and two primary schools to cater to the educational needs of boys and girls. For higher education inhabitants have to look to Vijayawada only.

A.P.S.R.T.C runs its buses from Vijayawada to Vissannapet/Mylavaram through this village.
