FSN Rocky Mountain

Keith Bleyer, one of the original employees hired to launch the "Rocky Mountain Sports Report" on Fox Sports Net in 2000, has seen his role expand over the years. His versatility has proven successful, serving as host of the "Rockies Pre-Game Report", "Rockies Weekly", and for three seasons he was the host of the "CSU Insider" with Sonny Lubick. He also anchored and reported for "FSN Live" and called the play-by-play of various sporting events, including collegiate basketball and soccer in Colroado.

During his tenure at FSN Rocky Mountain, he covered all three major professional sports teams in the area and worked on "Spotlight" and hosted the "Insider Edition." His visibility extends beyond the broadcast booth, serving as a regular Master of Ceremonies for Special Olympics and Metro Denver Sports Commission events.

portscasting Since 1988

A familiar personality in Denver, Bleyer hosted and produced FSN’s weekly "Rocky Preps" program about Colorado high school sports in 1999. He also was a freelance reporter and producer for KCNC-TV News 4 in 1998, working primarily with the "Countdown to Kickoff" show prior to each Denver Broncos game. Additionally, Bleyer worked part-time at KKFN Radio ('The Fan') radio in Denver, where he anchored sportscasts and provided live reports during breaking stories.

From 1994 to 1998, Bleyer was sports director for the CBS affiliate, KGAN-TV, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He has also served as sports director at WAOW-TV in Wausau, Wisconsin. (1993-94) and was a sports anchor/reporter at WPTZ in Burlington, Vermont (1991-93).

Bleyer got his start in sports broadcasting while attending Santa Clara University in the late eighties. He called the university's basketball, football and soccer games first on the student-run radio station KSCU and then for a commercial station in San Jose, California.

Bleyer has also done additional radio and TV work for several local teams, including the Colorado Rapids (Major League Soccer) and the Colorado Eagles (Central Hockey League).

On the June 12, 2007 FSN Rockies post-game show it was revealed that it was Bleyer's last broadcast in Denver, and that he would be moving 'home' to Bend, Oregon (where his parents live and where he has vacationed for over two decades) to become the Sports Director of Central Oregon's new high definition ABC TV station, KOHD, and to be the Director of Operations for the Bend United Soccer Club.
