Kris Lefcoe is a
Canadian film writer and director. Born inMontreal ,Quebec , Lefcoe graduated from theUniversity of Toronto with a degree inphilosophy , before attendingNorman Jewison 'sCanadian Film Centre as a Director Resident.Many of Lefcoe's films are dark comedies exploring the impact of insidious cameras and surveillance on contemporary culture.
Lefcoe wrote and directed two notable short films, "Symptomology of a Rock Band", about the
Grammy -nominated bandCrash Test Dummies , and "Can I Get a Witness?", starringScott Speedman , which premiered at 1996Toronto International Film Festival .Kris Lefcoe wrote, directed and produced "Public Domain", starring
Don McKellar ,Nicole DeBoer ("The Dead Zone") and Jason Jones ("The Daily Show ").
