Ryan Saranich

Ryan Saranich (born February 16th, 1987), and is an American jazz fusion saxophonist. Aside from being a saxophonist, he is also a drummer, bassist, and pianist. Previously, Ryan had attended Northwest School of the Arts in Charlotte, North Carolina. Now attending the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, he is a member of The UNCW Saxtet. He studies under saxophone great Frank Bongiorno, and can be seen on concert tour across the United States throughout the year. In addition, Ryan has written soundtracks for internationally-released major motion pictures and documentaries. Since May 14th, 2006, Ryan has been recording his new CD to be released in May 2008, with the help of bassist Anthony Wellington, keyboardist Joseph Wooten (brother of bass guitar icon Victor Wooten), drummer Nate Morton, and Brazilian prodigies Raphael du Valle (bass) and Ronaldo Pizzi (keys).
