History and Mission

The institution was founded in the year 1866 by the Rev. S.T. Pettigrew, who also founded various other institutions, and is one of the leading co-educational schools of India. It is affiliated to, and accredited by, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.

The Boarding Home at Cathedral dates back all the way to the 19th century, when the institution was founded. It continues the venerable tradition, updating its facilities with the passing of time.
