Kopidlno is a town in the Jičín District. It has a population of 2,238. Kopidlno lies between Jičín and Poděbrady, 80 kilometers from Prague.

History

Kopidlno has 4 outskirts - Kopidlno, Drahoraz, Mlýnec, Ledkov, Pševes. A word Kopidlno is probably from the name of medicinal plants growth around in foresty. The first owners of Kopidlno were Lords of Kopidlno.
