Professor Timothy Swanson obtained PhD's from J.D.
University of Michigan in1982 , and later from theLondon School of Economics in1991 . [1]Affiliation and Teaching
Professor Swanson currently holds the Chair in Law & Economics at
University College London . He teaches law & regulation and international environmental law in the law school, and teaches law & economics and institution-building in the economics department.Research
His research covers the issues dealing with legal reform and institution building in the areas of environment, intellectual property and technology. He has advised the governments of
