Krauser was born in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania . He received a bachelor's degree fromNorthwestern University in Evanston,Illinois in 1969. He studied law at theUniversity of Pennsylvania Law School , where he received a J.D. (law degree) in 1972.Krauser married Sherrie L. Krauser, who is a circuit court judge in

Krauser began his legal career as a
