When Kahn and Mihn go to
Hawaii for aworking vacation , they leave Connie with Hank and Peggy. The second night of her time with the Hills, Connie becomes uncharacteristically testy; and the next day has her first period, after Peggy and Bobby have left. Unable to locate Kahn and Mihn, Hank alone must deal with Connie's first menstrual cycle, which given his
conservative andprudish nature, makes him ill at ease.He takes her to a doctor who confirms that Connie has had her first period and gives Hank a list of feminine hygiene supplies she will need. He immediately takes Connie to
Mega Lo Mart and sends her down the feminine hygiene section of the store (Aisle 8A), to do her shopping waiting from a distance.Connie becomes overwhelmed by the selection and her limited funds (she only has $5) and breaks down, and Hank rushes in to console her.
Bobby fears being left behind as Connie has taken a milestone to maturity while he has not and also must learn how to deal with Connie's
PMS .Quotes and Exchanges
