- Epitenon
The epitenon is one of two major components in the covers of tendons. The other portion, the
endotenon , covers the inside portions of the tendon, such as thefascicle , subfasicle, and tertiary fiber bundle structure, while the endotenon is the looseconnective tissue sheath covering atendon over its entire length. It contains a fewfibroblast -like cells,blood andlymphatic vessels and anerve supply.
