description=The medal is a disc with an embossed border. The Mactan monument in gold relief occupies the center of the disc. At the dexter and in sinister flanks and center base, a phrase "VISAYAN CAMPAIGN" is embossed in arc pattern.The Mactan monument stands for Visayan Island where the campaign took place. The stars depict the three (3) big island groups of the Philippines.
The service ribbon is pure red.
