Kate Allan (born 1975) is UK author of "Perfidy and Perfection", "Fateful Deception" (shortlisted for the 2005 Joan Hessayon New Writers Award) and "The Restless Heart". She is co-author of "The Lady Soldier" with Jennifer Lindsay.

Allan was educated at the all-girls' Bedford High School and Repton School. She is member of the Romantic Novelists Association, the Historical Novels Society, the Society of Authors, and Verulam Writers' Circle.
