The Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame was chartered in 1965 by the Canadian Lacrosse Association. In 1967, the Hall of Fame and museum opened at its doors at he New Westminster Centennial Community Centre. There are five categories of inductees into the Hall: Field players, box players, builders, veteran players (added in 1997), and teams (added in 1998).
