- Einar Thomassen
Einar Thomassen is a NorwegianProfessor inReligious Studies (akaHistory of Religions aka Religionswissenschaft) at theUniversity of Bergen , he also has a position as an adjunct professor at TheUniversity of Aarhus .Thomassen was born in
1951 inBergen , and grew up inLaksevåg . He was taught Coptic, Greek and Latin already during high-school (Bergen Katedralskole). He studied inSweden ,France , andScotland , and lectured in Oslo. He now lives inBønes with his wife, whom he met while studyingReligious Studies in the 1970s. They have two sons. He is Mag. art (University of Bergen ), and Ph.D. (University of St. Andrews ).Einar Thomassen lectures in
