The Xceive XC3028 is a single chip silicon
tuner capable of receiving analogue cable, analogue terrestrial,digital cable anddigital terrestrial TV (PAL ,NTSC ,SECAM , DVB-t, ATSC, DVB-c). It is commonly used inUSB digital TV receivers for PC and Mac due to its small size and power consumption, but the manufacturer also markets it as suitable for portable TVs andnotebook computers .Its main competitor is the
Microtune MT2060 .Support for this tuner has been added in the 2.6.25 Linux kernel.
