Edward Butcher is a 22 year old British vocalist. He is the former lead singer of The Hunt For Ida Wave and Australian metalcore band I Killed The Prom Queen and was singing for experimental deathcore band Eternal Lord before walking out of the band.

Eternal Lord released "Blessed Be This Nightmare" in early 2008, and The Hunt For Ida Wave who recently reformed.

In late August 2008 Edward Butcher walked out of the band and has yet to return. The vocalist of Deathcore band Random Conflict stepped in to take over vocal commitments for one gig. This follows the cancelation of a UK tour by the band scheduled for October.

I Killed The Prom Queen

Ed left England to take over as vocalist for Australian Metalcore band I Killed the prom queen, though sadly after releasing a full length album with them titled Music For The Recently Deceased and midway through their tour left due to personal reasons and quoted "For the fans of I Killed The Prom Queen.I have decided after a year of playing in the band that its time for me to leave. my reasons for this are personal but i would like to thank everyone who has supported the band since ive been a part of it. I am greatfull for your support and kind words throughout the year. Hopefully your support will continue ! Thanks again. Edward Butcher x "

Soon after the band stated "We will soon announce our next Australian tour for when we return from our UK/Europe and USA tours around May/June."Which was the Say Goodbye tour which ex - carpathian vocalist Michael Crafter took over for.
