Almir Memić

Almir Memić

Almir Memić (born March 3, 1962. in Sarajevo) is a football coach and former player from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He started playing football in Famos Hrasnica. After that, he played in various clubs from Bosnia and Herzegovina and other parts of former Yugoslavia - Čelik Zenica, Borac Banja Luka, HNK Šibenik, FK Novi Sad, Mogren Budva and NK Pazinka. He also played in Turkey before he returned to Bosnia-Hezegovina. He played for FK Željezničar where he has collected 50 league appearances in two years. He has ended his playing career in 1998.

After that, he started working as a coach. He was a youth team coach, then an assistant coach and in March of 2006. He was promoted to the position of a head coach in FK Željezničar, after Ratko Ninković had resigned. Since he was just a replacement, he led the team only until the end of the season.
