October 7 ,1987 inFreetown ,Sierra Leone ) is a Sierra Leonean international footballer. He is aright midfielder and currently plays forHønefoss BK in theAdeccoligaen division and for theLeone Stars , Sierra Leone national football team. Bangura is a regular for the Leone Stars at theright midfield position. He made his senior international debut for the Leone Stars against Togo in a 2008 African Nations Cup qualifier played in Freetown. Bangura also played all three games forSierra Leone at the2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship inFinland .Bangura used to be widely known among Sierra Leoneans as Small Tumbu. He was given the nickname because his playing style is similar to one of Sierra Leone's legendary footballer Lamin Junior Tumbu Conteh. He is now fondly called Zengaylay.
