Umaru Bangura (born October 7, 1987 in Freetown, Sierra Leone) is a Sierra Leonean international footballer. He is a right midfielder and currently plays for Hønefoss BK in the Adeccoligaen division and for the Leone Stars, Sierra Leone national football team. Bangura is a regular for the Leone Stars at the right midfield position. He made his senior international debut for the Leone Stars against Togo in a 2008 African Nations Cup qualifier played in Freetown. Bangura also played all three games for Sierra Leone at the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Finland.

Bangura used to be widely known among Sierra Leoneans as Small Tumbu. He was given the nickname because his playing style is similar to one of Sierra Leone's legendary footballer Lamin Junior Tumbu Conteh. He is now fondly called Zengaylay.
